An incredible multicoloured fleck wool check coat. This is a fully handmade item, and I suspect has been re-lined and somewhat restored in its past. The coat is double breasted, has a winged collar, hip pockets and half belt at the back. I’ve suggested the size as when I tried on my UK10 body it seemed around the right size due to the hips and the room you need to move/ sit etc.. The interior pink satin lining has darts and is fitted and the back belt cinches a little also. You can see from the photo of the back that there is a drape to the fabric. The wool itself is also backed directly with a cotton.

Good overall condition. There are a scattering of small holes throughout the wool which are very, very unnoticeable and I think this is just the nature of the weave of wool. There’s one small fracture of wool on the back belt (last photo). The lining has been mostly hand stitched and these aren’t the most delicate of stitches.
